Privacy Policy

Choose AI Stack is a small editorial site. This policy explains the limited information collected when you sign up, submit a tool, or send a message.
Information We Collect
We may collect a newsletter email address if newsletter signup is connected, a submitter email address, tool submission fields, and any message you send by email. Tool submissions may include tool name, website, category, pricing documentation, security documentation, relationship disclosure, best users, and review notes.
Analytics
We use privacy-conscious usage analytics to understand which guides, comparisons, and quiz steps are useful, so we can improve the site. These measure aggregate behavior only. We never attach your email, name, company, or the free text you type into forms or the quiz to an analytics event.
- Google Analytics 4: loaded only when the site is configured with a Google Analytics measurement ID. When active, it collects standard usage data such as pages viewed, referring source, approximate location, device and browser type, and interaction events, and it may set cookies in your browser to do so. We set Google consent-mode defaults before the Google tag loads. For covered regions, analytics storage starts off unless you allow it from the on-page analytics preferences control. You can also use that control to turn analytics storage off again.
- Vercel Analytics: runs only on hosted Vercel deployments as a best-effort, cookieless measurement layer. It does not use cookies or store cross-site identifiers.
- Vercel Speed Insights: runs alongside Vercel Analytics on hosted Vercel deployments to measure aggregate page-performance signals without reconstructing individual browsing sessions.
- Product events: interactions such as starting the quiz, viewing a recommendation, clicking a call to action, adding to a stack draft, or submitting the newsletter are recorded with non-personal context only (for example page type, content slug, and whether the screen was mobile or desktop).
You can limit this collection with the analytics preferences control when it appears, your browser’s privacy controls or tracking-protection settings, or a content blocker. In local development, analytics are disabled unless a developer explicitly configures the relevant analytics environment variables.
How We Use It
We use this information to send newsletter updates, manually review tool submissions, process corrections, respond to feedback, and handle sponsorship or partnership inquiries. Tool submissions are not auto-published.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell personal information. We do not create public vendor accounts from submissions. We do not use tool submissions as an automatic publishing queue.
Deletion and Questions
To ask a privacy question, request deletion of a submitted email, or correct information you sent, email hello@chooseaistack.com.
